Note: 'AS' refers to content typically taught in the first year of a two-year course. We will discuss how we can use Autograph, and other freely-available online graphing platforms, to engage learners and enrich A-Level Maths lessons. We will be using Web Autograph (the new, online version of the long-standing Autograph graph-plotter) to look at some sample activities taken from AS maths. More experienced teachers may like to participate in order to consider alternative teaching approaches and to gather some new resources to enhance their teaching. This series of events is primarily aimed at teachers who have started teaching A-Level Maths relatively recently. The North-West Online A level Maths Pick n Mix is a series of twelve 90-minute PD sessions ideal for any teachers who are planning to teach A level Mathematics for the first time, or who have recently started teaching this course.
